Scott Salome, SIOR Represents Lubrication Engineers in purchase of land for corporate headquarters.
Lubrication Engineers is building a new office for its executives at 13207 W. 21st St. in the Office Park at Eberly Farm.
The company “sees growth in west Wichita and thought that the site would be a great site to put an office on,” says president and CEO Scott Schwindaman.
There’s another reason, though Schwindaman is hesitant to say it.
“I really don’t want to say because it’s closer to my house,” he says with a laugh.
Truthfully, though, it is.
Perhaps more importantly, it’s also near the company’s joint venture with Kyodo Yushi Manufacturing in Maize.
Lubrication Engineers has a 120,000-square-foot plant in south Wichita at 1919 E. Tulsa where the company’s executives currently are located.
With the new office, Schwindaman says, “It allows us flexibility to go to either facility quickly to help manage them.”
Hutton Construction is building Lubrication Engineers a 6,000-square-foot building on two lots at the office park.
“We are pleased to welcome such a well-known and respected company to our office park,” says Dan Unruh of InSite Real Estate Group.
“It’s great to see a successful local company expanding and creating more jobs and opportunities for Wichitans.”
Unruh represented the park and Scott Salome of NAI Martens represented Lubrication Engineers.
Unruh says there’s still room left to build about a 15,000-square-foot building at the office park.
He says there’s been a lot of activity at the park in the last year.
“It is exciting to see the west side starting to absorb some of the Class A office space that is out there, and we’re thrilled to have a piece of the action.”
